Diary of wimpy Jimmy

-Arie and Nandi

What we learnt from the story:

Proteins help to increase muscle mass hence the term ‘gains’. So what exactly are gains? o.O

There are many protein powders and shakes that help speed up this process. Some contain whey and casesin while most has glutamine. Glutamine is a non essential amino acid which simply means that the body produces it. Its function is to transport ammonia throughout the body so it flows in the bloodstream. During strenuous exercise, the need for glutamine in the blood increases as glutamine stores deplete therefore bodybuilders drink  proteins separately to increase the amount of glutamine  in their system.
